The "Emergency Opening Device" allows the door to be opened in an emergency by pulling up the green cover at the bottom of the Keylex body and sliding the release lever. This mechanism enables unlocking without entering a passcode or using a key. Even after breaking the cover to operate it, you can reuse the device by simply purchasing a new cover component! In terms of usage cases, both outdoor and indoor versions typically feature a dual-button type, with the emergency opening device often installed on one side. Normally, it operates with a passcode, allowing exit in emergencies or entry from the outside. Therefore, it is implemented in evacuation routes and emergency exits in facilities such as nursing homes, schools, hotels, and train stations.
